This is the sort of thing I dream about. This CD player is quite possibly my best bargain to date. It was picked up for two dollars at a local op shop. It powered up but the display and all functions were dead. After one or two phone calls I sourced a service manual down in Sydney. The conversation started buzzing once I realized this was a $3000 player. The service manual arrived the next morning. 5 days later the unit is now fixed. And it sounds fab. It weighs about 9.00kg, has two very high quality power supplies, the boards are littered with top quality components. The CD tray is die cast aluminium and even has an ONKYO label stamped in the metal. CD reading and track access is very fast. It sounds highly detailed and very musical
